Yasiru Gunasinghe Wildlife Photography began as a personal record of long days spent in Sri Lanka's national parks, and grew into a dedicated practice focused on the island's apex predators, elephant herds and endemic birdlife. The work is built on patience — waiting quietly in the field until light, behaviour and habitat align into a single true frame.
Yasiru is a proud, official member of the Wildlife and Nature Protection Society (WNPS), Sri Lanka's oldest conservation body, holding Membership ID 14290. This membership underpins every shoot: minimal-disturbance fieldcraft, respect for protected habitats, and photography that supports conservation storytelling rather than spectacle.
Today the archive serves collectors, publications and conservation-minded clients internationally, with original files delivered directly and personally by Yasiru upon purchase.
No baiting, no disturbance — every image is made from a respectful distance, in line with WNPS conduct.
Telephoto glass paired with hides and vehicle-based shooting across Sri Lanka's national parks.
No artificial lighting is used in the field — every frame is shaped by the available light of the habitat.
Every original file is delivered directly and personally to the collector after purchase.
